From the President
Thanks for taking a few minutes to look at our website. We’re adding new pages to show you some of the machinery parts that we make… we’re not just Dryers anymore! Our Machine Shop has been making the parts for all of the machinery in plywood plants for many years.
I’m proud to say that almost all the Plywood plants in North America are longtime customers, our Machine Shop does its best every day to make the best parts in the world, and we promise to have the most important parts for your machines in stock.
I machined my first Star Gear 50 years ago, and over the years we’ve built a First-Class shop to manufacture all the hardware that gets used-up in the plants. It’s important to me to be able to make the parts ourselves so we can control the quality and timing and costs. It’s also important to me that when you call us you talk with someone who knows you and your machinery, and the parts you need!
You’ve relied on us for 6 decades to keep your dryers running, it’s a rich history and we appreciate the responsibility, but we’ve been working on many new projects too; we’ve expanded our Electronics department — our new Laser Scanners are finally done and ready to improve your peeling recovery. Our Plug-Up Detection System is the standard of the industry and probably running in your dryers today.
Our precision craftsmen make the dies for Skoog and Raimann patchers. Our heavy-machinery side makes all the parts for WIW presses, including our Hydraulic Simultaneous Closing System.
