Beyond dryer parts, our machine shop supports the rest of the plywood plant — plug-up detection systems and lathe/charger components and rebuilds.
We designed the original plug-up detector that’s standard equipment on most new dryers. We’ve re-designed the control panel to take advantage of modern microprocessors — the new unit has more computing power than a 486 computer. The system still uses the original brackets and insulators inside the dryer, and we keep all of these in stock to keep your unit running.
Our machine shop has been making the important parts for lathes and chargers for several decades. We’ve helped develop X-Y chargers and made most of the roller nose bars in use today. We always have core-drive rolls underway in the shop, and we’re ready to rebuild rolls or entire drive units. Our in-house hydraulic experts can improve performance and reliability.
